The rooms Before☆After
This is the room that I showed in the first blog. It’s very simple with no furniture.
But now, it is fully furnished!
※This is the room for ２males with 2 singe beds. (Most of the shared rooms ordinarily use loft beds)
And then, the cozy and comfortable living room!
Here is the vegetables only refrigerator, where vegetables delivered from farmers will be stored.

Enjoy international exchange and the feature of Borderless House!
In fact, Borderless House’s 10th anniversary is this year!Those Japanese who want to make foreign friends and interact with them, those foreigners who want to make Japanese friends and have difficulties with renting because of guarantor issues.
Borderless House wants to connect these people and established the share accommodation business.

Although this is the first time opening the share accommodation in Kobe, there are more or less 80 Borderless Houses in Japan.
We have a lot of programs such as free accommodation in Korea and Taiwan, language exchange and balancing the ratio of Japanese and foreign tenants 50:50 to maximize international exchange enjoyment!

Speaking of share houses, you would think there are tenants who move in because of cheaper rent and no guarantors. However, most tenants in Borderless House have motivation for interacting with other tenants from all over the world!We talk with tenants before their move-in via video chat to introduce our features, whether they’re living in the mountains of Thailand, the Mediterranean sea or outer space!haha
If there are people who want to live in a share accommodation for travel only or the cheapest one, we sometimes recommend another share house which is most suitable to their preferences even if we have vacancies.
Therefore, many tenants have unique ideas for fun! I think they are experts at enjoying life! For example, this picture shows preparations for a Nagashi-soomen(flowing noodles) using a pool inside the share accommodation!
What is this?! I’m not a child anymore, but I was excited!
Next, there was a takoyaki party with firework viewing tenants from other share houses!
Borderless House tenants have a lot of chances to make new friends because there are many other share accommodation in Japan!

Hello, everyone!
My name is Daniel and I am currently staying in Borderless Share house Osaka.
I came Kyoto to study Japanese and learning new language is always so hard.
So I decided to visit Seoul for my short holidays!
I had stayed in one of share houses of Borderless House Seoul for my trip.
I would like to share some moments of my trip with everyone!
When I visited Seoul, it was rainy season and sometimes it was really hard to walk around.
But when I visited the palace, the weather was really awesome!
The palace I have visited has unique atmosphere with great weather.
I was really happy to take pictures during the time walk around the palace.
Share house where I have stayed in Seoul was near Hongdae.
Hongdae 4 house has really great access to famous area in Seoul!
Especially to Hongdae, it takes only around 5 minutes by walk.
The picture is the center of Hongdae, and I was on my way to have fancy dinner!
The place I loved most was the market.
I could meet many local people there and could feel real Seoul.
People who sells fish were really kind!
They kept ask me to have some raw fish when they clean fish.
Do not miss trying delicious dishes in the market!
I had Jeon which is cooked fish and vegetables with egg and flour.
It was so nice and I could drink a lot with these Jeon!
I was so busy during the day and my housemates also had their schedule.
So we always met in the night time and loved to have a conversation and drink!
We enjoyed to visit fancy restaurants together
and the picture is the moment we visited Han-river!
They recommend me to have “Chimaek” which is having Fried Chicken and Beer!
I love traveling, but it was my first time to stay in Share house.
It was really awesome because I could meet many local tenants in Seoul!
After this trip, I am planning to visit Taipei with this program again!

Yeongdeungpo 1,3 houses are located near Yeongdeungpo Gu-cheong station subway line No.2,5.
From this house, you can easily get to Universities located near the station of subway line No.2, such as Yonsei, Ewha, Hongik, SNU etc.
And also, you can easily get to famous areas in Seoul, such as Gangnam and Hongdae area.
These two houses located in same building, but different floors.
This cozy apartment typed house has four rooms, and this is the double room.
This double room has its own bathroom and dressroom, and it is really convenient!
It has two bunker beds, desks, chairs, shelves and hangers you can hang your clothes.
If you are worrying about sharing bathroom with many people,
we would like to recommend this room for you!
This private room has larger space compares to other private rooms of ours.
It has a single bed, a desk, a chair, a shelf and hangers you can hang your clothes.
If you would like to stay in share house, but you need your own place,
we highly recommend to stay in a private room!

Introduce our Jongno 1 house located near Sinseoldong station subway line No.2,
and Dongmyo-ap station subway line No.1,6.
The closest University from this house is SKKU, Dongguk
and also Universities in Dongdaemun area.
This house is always fully booked, and it is one of the most popular houses of ours!
This high-rised apartment typed house has big windows in every room.
It will give you fresh feeling in the morning!
This double room has its own bathroom and dressroom inside,
and there are big closets on the wall.
It has cozy and stylish kitchen!
What about cooking dishes with housemates and having it together?
It will make you closer to your housemates, and great memories.
We normally match a tenant to other tenant for Language Exchange.
But this time, we had a chance to work together with Global Overseas Adoptees’ Link!
So we are going to participate one of their famous and important program
holding for adoptees, ‘Motherland Tour’ and also,
we are going to match our tenants who are interested in Language Exchange
to their members who are interested in this program either.
Before sharing this wonderful experience with Global Overseas Adoptees’ Link,
we would like to introduce this organization briefly to all of you.
Global Overseas Adoptees’ Link (G.O.A.’L) is an organization founded in Seoul, South Korea.
Since it is founded by Adoptee and founded for Adoptee,
they are offering many services for adoptee who is searching for their birth family
such as Birth family search assistance/ translation & interpretation,
visa procedure and Social gathering etc.
And this time, we had an orientation for Language Exchange Program
between our tenant Minkyeong and Ellyn from Global Overseas Adoptees’ Link.
Minkyeong is currently staying in one of share houses in Borderless,
and Ellyn is from USA and currently working as a English teacher in Seoul.
Minkyeong has an experience of staying in USA for her exchange semester in University,
so they had conversation to share their experience of staying in USA.
Also, Ellyn had shared her hilarious experience in Seoul for us.
It was their first time to meet each other, but there were so friendly!
They had about 3 hours of orientation in Borderless House Seoul office,
and they said they will have a dinner together in a few days.
We hope them improve their language skill and be a good friend for each other!
I went straight back home.
We divided the members into three teams, and they thought about the team name!
Those who are handed down were disappointed…

Even after the bowling, everyone went to eat out and it seemed to have continued interaction!
This is Gangnam 2 house located near Maebong station subway line No.3.
From this house, you can easily get to Gangnam, Yeoksam and Apgujeong
where are the famous areas in Seoul, especially in Gangnam area.
This cozy mension typed house has four rooms, and this is the first room.
This private room has larger space compares to other private rooms of ours.
It has a single bed, a desk, a chair, a shelf and hangers you can hang your clothes.
If you would like to stay in share house, but you need your own place,
we highly recommend to stay in a private room!
There is one more private room in Gangnam 2 house, and it is a bit smaller than this room.
But it offers much lower rent than other private rooms,
so if you would like to save money for housing, we highly recommend this room.
We have two double rooms in Gangnam 2 house.
Those rooms have same condition, but the only difference is the bathroom.
One double room has its own bathroom inside, and it will be with your roommate only!
Tenants in other three rooms will share a bathroom in living room together.

Introduce our Gangnam 3 house located near Hakdong station subway line No.7.
The closest University from this house is Konkuk University, and also Sejong University.
This house is always fully booked, and it is one of the most popular house of ours!
This house will give you antique and cozy atmosphere.
You can see from the picture of the kitchen in Gangnam 3 house,
it is furnished with a wooden materials.
You can cook foods with your housemates and have it!
There are two double rooms and two private rooms in this house.
This is the picture of one of double rooms, and it has a double deck bed.
The best opportunities of staying in this room is Sunshine.
This room is well-lighted, so it will give you fresh feeling all days.
If you need your own place to take a rest and chill, what about a private room?
You can stay with many housemates in the shared area, living room and kitchen.
And during the night time or whenever you want, you can have your own time and space.

This female only house is charming apartment typed house.

And it has really great access to some Universities, such as Hanyang, Korea and HUFS!

This is our Koryodae 1 share house!
This house is luxurious apartment typed located near Bomun station subway line No.6.
It has really great access to Korea University, and it takes about 15 minutes
to the main gate of Korea University by walk.
You can easily get to SKKU, HUFS, Kyeonghee University from this house!
This room is a triple room in Koryodae 1 house.
It has its own bathroom inside, so there is no worrying for busy bathroom!

This Koryodae 3 house is cozy mension typed share house,

After the self-introduction, let’s cooking!
One of tenants interpreted the menu described in English to a neighbor!
Most of tenants often cook their own meals. However there are a lot of delicate works in making sweets, so that neighbors and staff of Dekovege cafe helped and taught them.
All of participants were concentrating on the explanation of the staff!

In this event, we learned that there are many vegetables that are discarded if the shape is ugly and non-standard. And, even if the Japanese person, it was a nice experience that made Wagashi with such vegetables!
